A founding member of the Fascial Manipulation Association, he is also a teacher of the Fascial Manipulation Method since 2005. He presently collaborates with the Department of Human Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Padova, which is hosting the 11th Congress of European Association of Clinical Anatomy (EACA) held jointly with the Summer Meeting of the British Association of Clinical Anatomists (BACA). ד"ר ליאון צ'איטו,,DO,ND נחשב לסמכות בינלאומית מובילה בכל הקשור ל.fascia צ'איטו הינו חבר של כבוד באוניברסיטת ווסטמינסטר, לונדון והעורך הראשי של המגזין הבינלאומי היוקרתי - & Bodywork Journal of Movement Therapies (בהוצאת.(Elesvier ד"ר צ'איטו הינו אוסטאופט, אקופנקטוריסט ונטורופט באנגליה עם ניסיון קליני של מעל (!) 40 שנה. ד"ר צ'איטו כתב למעלה מ 60 ספרים בנושאי רפואה טבעית, רפואה אלטרנטיבית ושיטות טיפול מנואליות. ד"ר צ'איטו מרצה תדיר בארה"ב וברחבי אירופה ומלמד פיזיותרפיסטים, אוסטיאופתים, כירופרקטורים ומעסים. הוא מרצה בכיר באוניברסיטת ווסטמינסטר בלימודי תואר ראשון ושני בתחומי מומחיותו. ב 1993 הוא הפך לאוסטאופט/נטורופת הראשון שמונה כיועץ לגוף מקצועי הממומן על ידי ממשלת אנגליה. Dr. Leon Chaitow ND, DO, graduated from the British College of Naturopathy & Osteopathy (now British College of Osteopathic medicine) in 1960. His postgraduate studies included acupuncture, cranial osteopathy and orthomolecular nutrition during the 1960s and 70s. He was the first naturopath/osteopath appointed as a consultant at a UK medical practice (Marylebone HC, London) 1993 - where he is still on staff. He was appointed senior lecturer and module leader, and part of course design team at what is now School of Integrated Health, University of Westminster in 1993. Since 1983 he has been (and remains) a visiting lecturer at numerous chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteopathic and naturopathic colleges, schools and organizations in Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. He is author/editor of over 70 books, including textbooks covering manual methods of treatment, breathing rehabilitation and chronic pain conditions. He was founder and Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed Journal of Bodywork & Movement Therapies (Elsevier). He retired from the University of Westminster in 2004, after 11 years as Senior Lecturer/module leader in Therapeutic Bodywork and Naturopathy and was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University in November 2005, in recognition of "services to Complementary and Osteopathic medicine". He remains active in private and NHS practice when in the UK and continues to teach internationally.
